Dave has shattered his femur, they will be putting a rod in it but should make a full recovery. I am sure he will be back next year to get the Series title to add the bmx title he won at the brits on his mountain bike! We all wish him a speedy recovery.

Thanks for the information on Dave, and I am pleased that they said he will make a full recovery - he's one helluva tough 4Xer! I have some shots that show Dave racing the last triple jump, it shows just how much he wanted to make that final - like I said, that guy has my utmost respect. I will have the report for MBUK written this week and it should appear in the magazine next month. Chris is going to supply me a little more information on the times that you guys were getting down that hill in - it looked fast from my perspective. Correction, it looked 'fast and furious' fast! The website is in the process of going up. I've got some really good shots to upload. Thanks for making this an awesome event - I really enjoyed reporting and snapping those pics :-) Respect also to the marshalls who made sure that I was safe on the course. Thanks Bob. It was really good to meet you, these last three days I have been listening in the evenings to the comments that I recorded on the dicto-phone. I have some peachy material for the report which I'm writing this evening ready to send over to the boys from MBUK for the weekend. Not sure how I am going to condense everything down to just 500 words (80 words reserved for 'soundbites') :-) I think that your sponsors will be pleased with the shots I got - all good. Speak soon. Sunny
