NPS R3 – The Edge – Near Bridgnorth

Race Postponed from May to Weekend of June 2/3rd.

The track is and is in prime condition for our race there in June.

The centre is now open for mountain bikes, as well as mountainboarding and quad trekking we offer a wide range of alternative activites including paintballing, fishing, falconry and mountainbiking… suitable for groups or individuals of all ages…

Its now open from Wednesdays to Sundays all summer long.

How To Find the Edge Mountain Board Centre

When heading north on the M6 exit at junction 10a, When heading south exit at junction 11. Join the M54 and stay on until junction 6, take the first exit off the round-a-bout above the motorway and continue to follow signs for Much Wenlock. On arrival in Much Wenlock you will be confronted with a T-Junction (you will be facing the Gaskell Arms Hotel) turn left on to the A458.

We are located about one mile outside Much Wenlock on the A458 heading TOWARDS Bridgnorth. Watch for our signs at the side of the road.

Parking

The main car park is off the main road and has hard standing please park with respect for other people.

There is parking charge for Spectators £2 per car i think.

Camping

There is plenty of room for camping no you won’t need to camp on top of your car!

The camping field is open from Friday morning onwards and is based on a first come first served basis (there is plenty of room). The campsite is situated within the site right next to the track which makes it easy for all to enjoy the activities on offer. The camping area is separated away from the carpark however there is a dedicated area for campervans and caravans.

Toilets will be provided but please bring your own drinking water. if you want some proper luxuary camping site see below.

New Categories this year.

Down Hill Bikes

We have added two new categories this years after the growing demand from riders with full on down hill bikes who want to give it a go. With all the tracks now getting steeper and faster a full on DH bike can be used in the Down Hill Bike Category.

40+ Veteran

Now this is even more impressive the old guys want to get in on the act!, So if your 40+ there is no reason not to come and race that national series title.

SAFETY AND MANNERS.

Safety: *No camp fires due to high fire risk. *Dogs will be allowed if on leads. *Spectators must be aware of the dangers of spectator at this Extreme Sports event. Stand in sensible places, pay attention to the riders at all times and never cross the course unless you can clearly see it is safe to do so.
